Dia de Muertos Celebration at The Nat
Come celebrate Dia de Muertos at The Nat! In partnership with the Mexican Consulate and the Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT), the Museum is hosting a four-day celebration. On all four days, visitors will be able to view the altar for extinct species (with interpretive talks offered at various times), enjoy Dia de Muertos coloring activities in the Atrium, and purchase pan de muerto and chocolate at The Flying Squirrel Cafe.
On Saturday and Sunday, additional activities include storytelling with La Catrina, face painting, a dance performance by Ballet Folklórico Raíces of Rosa Parks Elementary, and more. Activities vary by day; check webpage for a detailed event schedule.
Dia de Muertos activities are included with general admission, free for members, and free for visitors presenting an EBT, SNAP, or WIC card. The Nat is proud to participate in Museums for All.
