Engineering Educator Honor Awards

 The San Diego County Engineering Council (SDCEC) offers educator, service and student project awards to recognize outstanding achievements in the advancement of engineering in the community. Please consider nominating folks for one of these awards prior to the Jan 7, 2020 nomination deadline. The awards include:

• K-12 Engineering Educator Award – Know any formal or informal educators advancing, directing, encouraging K-12 students to prepare for an engineering career in or out of the classroom?
• Engineering Educator Award – Know any postsecondary faculty, lecturers, or administrators advancing engineering education at your college?
• Engineering Service Award – Know anyone providing a significant service to the advancement of the engineering profession? This can be within the community, your non-profit STEM organization, or the betterment of the working environment.
• College Student Engineering Project – Know of a student engineering or technology project that is benefiting the general public, engineering outreach or the community? This can be a completed physical product, hardware, software, analysis, design and/or model.
