Nature Hike at San Diego River (Hazard Center Trolley Stop)
Arrive by mass transit to see native riparian and chaparral plants along the San Diego River mostly via a paved walkway. This is an easy 2 mile hike with an elevation gain/loss of up to 200 feet. 9–11 AM.
(Mission Valley) By trolley, take the Green Line to Hazard Center. By car, from CA-163, exit east on Friars Rd. and go 0.2 mile. Turn right at Frazee Rd. and go 0.1 mile. Turn right on Hazard Center Dr. and park along street. Look for the Canyoneer host at the trolley station. Wheelchair accessible. No facilities. (GPS N32.770506, W117.157824)
