DETOUR - FANCY Teen Girls Leadership Academy

Our 9th Annual Focused And Naturally Confident Youth (F.A.N.CY.) Teen Girls Expo will take place on April 27, 2019 from 9:00am – 2:00pm at O’Farrell Charter School. This free event is a pivotal opportunity for over 200 teen girls to increase their confidence, explore various STEAM career fields/academic and employment programs/community resources, and connect with community mentors for ongoing support and guidance.

Our FANCY STEAM Fair will include hands on demonstrations and workshops by Sony, Microsoft Store, Sylvan Learning of La Mesa, Hands-On Technology Education, LLC.

We are also having an employment fair and mixer for the high school and college girls in attendance - and would love to have volunteers join us to speak on their career industries.
