STEM Exploration - The Ocean, Clean Water and YOU!

In this activity students will explore the relationship between humans and the ocean, through hands-on games and activities. Students will learn steps that they themselves can take to make a difference through the use of a watershed model. They will also play games illustrating how long common trash items take to decompose and learn how small changes can have a dramatic impact. They will learn what steps they can take to make improvements in their own life and feel empowered to facilitate change. Students will then grab their collection bags and participate in an on-the-water cleanup on kayaks and paddleboards.
