Make, Take and Teach: Exploring Energy Through Circuits
Build your own block circuits and take what you make back to your students!
This workshop uses cheap, common and easily accessible material, making it perfect for porting directing into the classroom. Projects constructed by educators in the workshop can be taken back to the classroom.
Who is this workshop for?
Teachers, informal educators and after-school providors who are interested in learning new ways to incorporate inquiry with their students, specifically inquiry as it relates to energy and energy transfer.
What science standards are covered in this workshop?
- 4-PS3-2. Make observations to provide evidence that energy can be transferred from place to place by sound, light, heat, and electric currents.
