Come for the pizza, converse with colleagues, learn curriculum-ready interdisciplinary content related to the month's topic and attend the 7 p.m. The Sky Tonight Astronomer-led planetarium show in the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater.
Interested in adding new space science activities to your classroom? Curious about recent and upcoming astronomical events? This afterschool workshop introduces a new hands-on activity each month. Workshop participants have access to the 7 p.m. The Sky Tonight planetarium program.
The following topics are emphasized in the workshop and planetarium. The topic of the educator workshop may vary from the planetarium show to be more in line with Next Generation Science Standards.

- Planetarium: Understanding the Stars
